BALMORAL HOUSE

A grounded compact family home consisting of stacked and interconnected volumes that enhance the daylight opportunities, as well as the views to Balmoral and the internal outdoor spaces. The centrepiece of the house is the main glazed stair that allows daylight to penetrate and to reflect from the small pond beneath it. A large rectangular custom artificial skylight is set-out on the size and shape of the kitchen island bench. Surface spot lights are arranged in groups of three and set-out geometrically off-centre.
